Clerk's Office

The Clerk's Office is the hub of City Government. The inner workings of this department are what make your City function in the most efficient way possible.

Changing & Developing
This department has seen many changes in the last 7 years. It has flourished and grown with our community and now provides state of the art technology.

Responsibilities
The Clerk's office is responsible for all state, federal, local and school elections and accounting functions, including:
  • Accounts payable
  • Financial reporting
  • Maintenance of the City's cemetery records
  • Payroll and benefits
  • Water/sewer billing (online payment available)
Planning & Zoning Applications
The Clerk's Office also processes all of the planning and zoning applications within the City of New Baltimore.

The Clerk's Office has seven employees working within this department, each having specific duties and responsibilities.

Forms & Applications
  • Forms may be printed, completed and returned to the Clerk's office for official approval.
  • Forms must have an original signature from the applicant. Copies will not be accepted.
