Payment Arrangements

Payment arrangements/plans must be set up before the due date printed on your utility bill. If you think you might not be able to pay your bill in full, contact Angela right away to get arrangements set up. 

Payment Options

  1. Card Payment: You can make a card payment that will be processed immediately and you will be provided with a receipt. There is a $4.75 processing fee. You can make a card payment online (see online payment below), at City Hall, or over the phone by calling 586-725-2151.
  2. Cash Payment: You can bring a cash payment to City Hall at 36535 Green St. that will be processed immediately and you will be provided with a receipt. 
  3. Drop Box: City Hall has 3 drop boxes (1 at the front door, 1 at the back door, 1 in the parking lot). These are all securely locked and checked several times throughout the day. Please do not leave cash payments in the drop boxes. 
  4. Online Payment: You can make an online payment here! You can also set up an account to receive email/text notifications, set up automatic bill pay, follow your utility history, etc. 
  5. Mail Payment: You can mail a payment right to City Hall at 36535 Green St., New Baltimore, MI 48047.

Penalties/Late Charges

Penalties are automatically applied the morning after the due date printed on the utility bill. The penalty amount is ten percent (10%) of the bill balance.
