New Homeowners

New Resident (Property Owner):

New homeowners must file their paperwork with the Assessing Department in order to get taxes, utility billing, etc. put into their name.

Rental:

If the property is going to be a rental, please specify this to the Assessing Department as well as the Building Department at 586-725-2151, ext. 105 or email Candice

Request to Rescind PRE:

If the property is no longer going to be occupied and no longer going to need a PRE, you will need to file a Request to Rescind PRE Form.


Form Submittals:

Please put forms in any of the 3 drop boxes located at City Hall 'Attention Assessing Department'. Assessing will process them and send a copy back as soon as possible, as long as there is an accurate mailing address. You can also mail your forms to:
